Leaf Color Abundant for 2012 Soque River Ramble

Leaf Color on GA Hwy. 356 – Friday Morning

Over the last week, the leaves in the foothills of northern Habersham County and the surrounding mountains have begun to put on quite a colorful show. Leaf color in our area typically peaks around the first week of November, and since the Soque River Ramble occurs late in October, visitors and participants will get to see the area at one of its most beautiful and scenic periods of the year.

Today (Friday, October 19) is the last day to pre-register for the event to insure you get a colorful t-shirt on event day, so visit the registration page now and submit your registration form so that it is received in time to get your t-shirt immediately after completing the run/walk. But if you are not yet ready to commit to attending today, you are always welcome to register in person at our registration tables that open at 7:30AM on event day (October 27).
