Marlin Wilbanks owns the property where we stage the race. His generosity allows us to host what many participants of Run and See Georgia Race Circuit consider to be one of the most scenic courses in the state – mountains, leaves changing colors, dirt and paved roads thru the beautiful Soque and Goshen valleys along the headwaters of the Soque River, wildlife, ….what a great way to spend the day!

Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia was formed on January 18, 1985. Our first house was dedicated on July 12, 1986. Since that time, we have built more than 60 homes.
Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operated on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities and hope. Habitat for Humanity of Northeast Georgia is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions. Habitat for Humanity was founded on the conviction that every man, woman and child should have a simple, durable place to live in dignity and safety, and that decent shelter in decent communities should be a matter of conscience and action for all.
