This year we are encouraging pet owners to bring their dogs (on a leash, please) to participate in our event and make a small VOLUNTARY contribution of $5 to the Habersham Humane Society for each pet. Barbara Rush at the Batesville General Store & Restaurant has organized the Batesville Fall Festival again this year and all proceeds from the festival after expenses will be donated to the Habersham Humane Society. For the $5 entry fee, your pet will be in competition with other pets for the Canine Grand Prize that will be given away during the awards ceremony. So this year invite your pet to have fun with you and other dog friends on a cool crisp October morning in the mountains!
