Every year we invite good bluegrass talent to play during the event and this year is no different. This year we have scheduled the Tallulah River Bluegrass Band that features a returning musician Brian Addis of Mt. Airy on Bass Fiddle, and two new musicians Joe Jones of Clayton on Guitar, and Steve Parker of Hiawassee on Banjo.
The trio promises to deliver a rendition of well-known bluegrass favorites starting at 8:30AM and playing up until the awards ceremony starting at around 10:15AM. The great music alone is a good enough reason to join us for another great event!
We are sad to report that Roy Tench of Cornelia who played fiddle at the Ramble for several years just recently passed away after a brief illness. Roy was well into his 90s while showing up in the early morning chill to play for us and we will miss him dearly for his contribution to the ambiance of the Ramble.
